Nieuweboer Wines started in Edam with a simple conviction. The bottles worth following come from growers who are fully connected to their land. That is what took us to Etna, Burgundy, and the Canary Islands, looking for wines with shape, energy, and a real point of view.

We keep the range focused on purpose. Every bottle is there because we have tasted it properly, gone back to it, and still wanted to pour it again. We work with growers whose farming and cellar decisions we trust, and whose wines keep giving more after the first glass.

Nieuweboer Wines begon in Edam vanuit een simpele overtuiging. De flessen die ertoe doen, komen van telers die echt verbonden zijn met hun land. Daarom gingen we op pad naar Etna, Bourgogne en de Canarische Eilanden, op zoek naar wijnen met spanning, richting en eigen karakter.

Ons assortiment is bewust klein gehouden. Elke wijn staat er omdat we hem echt hebben geproefd, opnieuw hebben beoordeeld en nog steeds graag willen inschenken. We werken alleen met producenten van wie we het werk in wijngaard en kelder echt steunen, en van wie de wijnen ons ook later blijven boeien.

We taste widely and choose carefully. The range moves across Europe's most interesting regions, with a clear preference for wines that feel rooted, precise, and alive. If a bottle does not bring real character to the table, it does not make the cut.

Wij proeven breed en kiezen scherp. Het assortiment beweegt door de meest interessante wijnregio's van Europa, met een duidelijke voorkeur voor wijnen met spanning, precisie en karakter. Als een fles niets bijzonders laat zien, nemen we hem niet op.

We visit, stay in touch, and follow the vintages closely. Our producer relationships are built over years, not around a buying season. That gives us access, but more importantly it gives us honest context for every bottle we bring in.

We bezoeken, spreken veel en volgen de jaargangen op de voet. Onze relaties met producenten zijn opgebouwd over jaren, niet rond een inkoopmoment. Dat geeft ons niet alleen toegang, maar vooral een scherp beeld van de ontwikkeling van elke wijn die we inkopen.

Every bottle is stored under stable conditions, with close attention to temperature and handling. We move wine carefully and without rush. From the cellar to your door, we treat it like something worth protecting.

Elke fles wordt opgeslagen onder stabiele omstandigheden, met veel aandacht voor temperatuur en behandeling. We gaan zorgvuldig en zonder haast met wijn om. Van onze kelder tot je deur behandelen we hem als iets dat het waard is om te beschermen.

We ship securely and without fuss. Orders placed before 15:00 usually leave the same day. We use specialist wine packaging that keeps the bottles steady and protected all the way through the trip.

We verzenden veilig en zonder gedoe. Bestellingen die voor 15:00 binnenkomen, vertrekken meestal dezelfde dag. We gebruiken gespecialiseerde wijnverpakking die de flessen stabiel en beschermd houdt tijdens het transport.

Every wine in the catalogue is described by someone who has actually tasted it. We do not hide behind generic praise. If a wine needs air, time, or the right dish, we say it plainly. The point is to help you choose well.

Elke wijn in de catalogus wordt beschreven door iemand die hem echt heeft geproefd. We verstoppen ons niet achter generieke lof. Als een wijn lucht, tijd of het juiste gerecht nodig heeft, zeggen we dat gewoon. Het doel is dat u goed kiest.

The wines that stay with us are shaped by place. Volcanic basalt, old limestone, wind from the coast, cool nights in the vineyard. We look for the kind of identity you cannot fake, only farm toward over time.
